Electrical lighting equipment is widely involved in daily life and has developed rapidly, influencing household routines, urban night lighting, stage entertainment, and more. Now, CISPR 15:2024 has replaced CISPR 15:2018. Let's take a closer look.

The main technical updates are as follows:

1. Change in the Radiation Interference Range:

Add a new limit value for radiation disturbance above 1GHz (Table 14). Whether testing is required above 1GHz depends on the operating clock frequency, as shown in Table 13 (Fx is the highest operating clock frequency of the EUT).

 

 

2. The voltage probe method for conduction interference measurement on local wired ports other than the ELV lamp power supply interface has been eliminated (only the current method remains).

 

3、 The conical metal cover of the single ended self ballasted lamp was flipped over, and requirements were made for the arrangement and placement of the lampshade.

 

4、 The stability time before testing for lamps other than gas discharge lamps has been changed from 15 minutes to 1 minute.

5、 New options for testing input voltage and frequency have been added.

 

6、 If the EUT cable is equipped with anti-interference functions (such as online EMI filters), even if the cable length needs to be adjusted to meet the length requirements, these functions should be fully retained in the test configuration.

7、 Add a layout method for conducting sites if the EUT is too large.
