Shell material pressure test

Evaluate the strength of insulation materials by applying pressure at high temperatures for a certain period of time. Generally used for the rubber outer skin of handheld light handles or the outer skin of water tube lights.

Shell material pressure testing is an experimental method for evaluating the strength of materials under high temperature and pressure, commonly used for insulation materials such as rubber sheaths of hand-held lamp handles or water tube lamp sheaths. The following are the basic steps and key points of testing:

Test steps:
Sample preparation:

Select material samples that meet the specifications and ensure their size and shape are consistent.

Device settings:

Use a high-temperature pressure testing machine to set the required temperature and pressure parameters.

High temperature environment:

Place the sample in a high-temperature chamber, heat it to a predetermined temperature (such as 100 ° C or higher), and maintain stability.

Apply pressure:

At high temperatures, a constant pressure is applied to the sample, and the magnitude of the pressure is determined based on the material and application requirements.

Holding time:

Continuously apply pressure for a period of time (such as 24 hours or longer) to simulate long-term usage conditions.

Cooling and observation:

After the test is completed, cool the sample and inspect its appearance and structural changes, such as cracks, deformations, etc.

Performance evaluation:

Measure the physical property changes of the sample, such as hardness, tensile strength, etc., and evaluate its durability.

Test points:
Temperature control: Ensure stable temperature and avoid fluctuations affecting the results.

Uniform pressure: The applied pressure should be evenly distributed to prevent local stress concentration.

Time setting: Set the testing time based on actual usage to ensure the reliability of the results.

Data recording: Detailed recording of test conditions and results for easy analysis and comparison.

Application:
Handheld lamp handle: Ensure that the rubber outer skin does not deform or crack under high temperature and pressure.

Exterior of water pipe lamp: Verify the durability of the exterior in harsh environments to prevent aging or failure.

Through these steps, the performance of materials in high-temperature and high-pressure environments can be effectively evaluated, ensuring their reliability in practical applications.
