On July 17, 2025, the Burkina Faso Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP) issued Decree No. 2025-365/PRES/PM/MTDPCE/MEF, approving a new national spectrum allocation plan. The key points are as follows:

The 5925-6425 MHz frequency band is allocated for use by WAS/RLAN (i.e. Wi Fi 6E).

The 6425-7125 MHz frequency band is allocated for use by IMT (International Mobile Telecommunications).

3. MOC in Israel

MOC once again reminds the public to prepare for the retirement of 2G and 3G networks. Starting from 2021 and announcing on September 13, 2023 that 2G and 3G services will be shut down by the end of 2025, the Israeli Ministry of Communications (MOC) issued another announcement on July 10, 2025, reminding the public that Israel is entering the final stage of network shutdown, and 2G and 3G services will be completely phased out by December 31, 2025. Starting from January 1, 2026, only devices compatible with 4G and 5G VoLTE can continue to operate. Users and businesses that still rely on outdated networks must be prepared to cope with this change in order to avoid service interruptions.
