Please note that the China Quality Certification Center has partially revised the implementation rules for mandatory certification of electrical accessory products on July 27, 2023.
Specifically, it includes 0101 categories CQC-C0201.01-2014 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Electrical Accessories - Wire Components", 0201 categories CQC-C0201.02-2014 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Electrical Accessories - Plugs and Sockets for Household and Similar Purposes", and 0202 categories CQC-C0201.03-2014 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Electrical Accessories - Switches for Fixed Electrical Installations for Household and Similar Purposes", Class 0204 CQC-C0201.05-2014 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Electrical Accessories - Couplers for Household and Similar Use Appliances", Class 0206 CQC-C0201.07-2014 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Electrical Accessories - Enclosures for Fixed Electrical Installations for Household and Similar Use Appliances".
Main content of the revision:
1. Add Chapter 2 Certification Basis Standards; Chapter 10 Certification Mark; Chapter 12 Certification Responsibility; Make adjustments to the order of chapter clauses.
2. Delete 0.2 term definitions.
3. Clause 4.3 requires the removal of the requirement for type testing of the same product produced by the same producer (manufacturer) and different production enterprises (factories) according to the classification management of the production enterprise.
4. Article 5.4 adds the content that the client shall choose the testing laboratory at their own discretion.
5. Article 5.5 adds the content of implementing the "double random" mechanism for initial factory inspection.
6. Article 8.6 adds the content of the certification results of the quality management system of the enterprise to be trusted, and modifies the content of supervision for Class A and Class B production enterprises after obtaining certification.
7. In Chapter 14, the quality information based on which the classification of production enterprises is based is supplemented by the results of certification effectiveness spot checks and enterprise credit information.
8. Modify Attachment 1 to include the number of main test samples and add remarks.
9. Modify Attachment 3 and delete the note that factory supervision sampling inspection cannot replace confirmation inspection.
10. Amend Annex 6 to divide the types of supervised sampling into "basic categories" and "sub categories" (only related to the implementation rules for household and similar purpose plugs and sockets).
