The year 2025-12-31 is the deadline for EU countries to adopt and implement the EN IEC 60598-1:2024+A1:2024 "General Requirements and Tests for Luminaires" standard, which includes the addition of Appendix W and new compliance requirements specifically for battery powered luminaires!

What requirements does Appendix W involve?
