Part.03
Mandatory safety standards require:
1. Button/coin batteries in consumer goods (whether replaceable or not) must not be released under reasonable and foreseeable circumstances of use or misuse.
2. The design of the battery protection compartment for button/coin batteries of replaceable consumer goods should ensure that the compartment cannot be easily opened by young children.
3. If the door or cover of the button/coin battery box is fixed by screws or similar fasteners, the screws or fasteners cannot come off the door or cover after loosening.
4. If button/coin batteries in consumer goods are non replaceable and cannot be obtained by consumers, then the consumer goods should comply with the requirements of UL 4200A Section 6.4.

Mandatory requirements for information standards:
1. The internationally recognized safety warning symbols (as shown in the figure below) should be clearly, prominently, and legibly marked on the front panel of the packaging.
2. The following warnings and instructions should be clearly, prominently, and legibly indicated in the instructions:
(a) Warning words (such as DANGER, Warning, or CAUTION), with capitalized letters;
(b) Internationally recognized security alert symbols (as shown in the figure below);
(c) A statement: "Batteries are dangerous and must be kept away from children (whether the battery is new or old);
(d) If the battery is a lithium button battery/coin battery, it is necessary to declare: 'If the battery is swallowed or placed in any part of the body, it may cause serious or fatal injury within 2 hours or less';
(e) If the battery is a non lithium button battery/coin battery, it is necessary to declare: 'If the battery is swallowed or placed in any part of the body, it may cause serious injury';
(f) Suggestion: "If you suspect that the battery has been swallowed or placed in any part of the body, seek medical attention immediately.

The following are examples of safety warnings and the "keep out of reach of children" symbol specified in ISO 7010 W001 and ISO 7010-M055:
The following warnings (specified in IEC 60086-4:2019) are examples that include the aforementioned warnings:
The symbol "keep out of reach of children" should be marked on button batteries with a diameter of 20 millimeters or more, and the symbol should be clearly visible, prominent, and indelible.
The warning accompanying products that use/contain button batteries should comply with the requirements of ISO 3864-2:2016 for the size and readability of product safety labels (clause 5) and the durability of product safety labels (clause D.7).
Shenzhen Lixun Testing Co., Ltd. has obtained CNAS qualification authorization for button battery products according to Australian standards!!
