On July 24, 2024, the IC official website released the radio standard specification RSS-133, issue 7, for personal communication service equipment operating in the 1850-1915 MHz and 1930-1995 MHz frequency bands, replacing the first amendment 2 GHZ personal communication service of RSS-133, issue 7 released on January 18, 2018.

At the same time, SRSP-510, issue 6, and SRSP-503 issue 9 were also released. SRSP-510 and issue 6 specify the technical requirements for personal communication services (PCS) in the 1850-1915 MHz and 1930-1995 MHz frequency bands, while SRSP-503 issue 9 specifies the technical requirements for cellular systems operating in the 824-849 MHz and 869-894 MHz frequency bands.

Main updates:

RSS-133, Issue 7 is a personal communication service device operating in the 1850-1915 MHz and 1930-1995 MHz frequency bands.

1. Increased the maximum transmitter power requirements for fixed stations, base stations, and user equipment;

2. Added the total radiated power requirement for active antenna system (AAS) equipment, and added the total radiated power requirement for useless emissions in Section 5.6;

3. Added definitions to clarify the terminology used;

4. The section regarding receiver spurious emissions has been removed as it is a requirement in RSS Gen;

5. The requirements for Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID) and International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) have been removed as they are no longer necessary;

6. Modernized to reflect the current radio standard specification structure;

7. Edited and clarified as appropriate;

SRSP-510, Technical Requirements for Personal Communication Services (PCS) in the 61850-1915 MHz and 1930-1995 MHz Frequency Bands:

1. Incorporate technical rules to facilitate the deployment of AAS;

2. The entire document has been edited and updated.

Technical requirements for SRSP-503 issue 9824849 MHz and 869-894 MHz frequency bands cellular systems (including flexible use of broadband systems):

1. ICS table (used to reflect all functions of the Bluetooth specification in this design);

2. Test statement (fill in the test plan for each item).
