Quoting the UK government website GOV UK News: On January 29th local time, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced during a visit to a school that the UK will ban disposable e-cigarettes as part of the government's grand plan to increase the use of e-cigarettes among teenagers and protect children's health.

This can be seen as a partial response from the government to the consultation results on smoking and e-cigarettes launched in October last year.
Recent data also shows that in the past three years, the incidence of children being infected with e-cigarettes has tripled, especially among young children who have also increased. 9% of children aged 11-15 use e-cigarettes.
The government hopes to improve the current issue of children's exposure to electronic cigarettes in three ways:
Prohibition of disposable electronic cigarettes - as it leads to a significant increase in the incidence of electronic cigarette use among adolescents;
Reduce the attraction to children by implementing new policies to restrict the taste of e-cigarettes, introducing vegetarian packaging, and changing the way e-cigarette exhibitions are sold;
The new law regards the sale of tobacco products to the new generation on January 1, 2009 as illegal in order to urge the commitment to establish a smoke-free generation.
As an extension of the law to protect children from e-cigarettes, other alternatives such as nicotine bags will also be prohibited.
The consensus on official news, opinions from government representatives, and concerns from parents is:
① Although e-cigarettes can help adult smokers quit smoking, children should never be exposed to e-cigarettes.
② Restricting the use of disposable electronic cigarettes is beneficial for environmental protection.
LCS recommendation:
1) All stakeholders actively grasp market trends, do a good job in compliance response, and strive to reduce their own risks.
2) This ban only applies to disposable e-cigarettes, and other devices such as rechargeable e-cigarettes and smoking cessation aids are not included in this ban.
3) LCS will continue to follow up on regulations and promptly notify relevant companies of the disclosure of taste, packaging, and exhibition details. Please also keep an eye on them.
