For over a decade, Lixun Testing Laboratory has been committed to collaborating with the authoritative certification body Global Mark in Australia and continuously deepening it, providing one-stop solutions for your products to enter the Australian market and break down trade barriers!

Recently, the expert team of Global Mark held a seminar in Shenzhen to explain the latest regulatory changes and standard updates in Australia.

Lixun Testing Laboratory has also compiled some key points to share with everyone:

① Starting from February 2025, the following products will be listed as mandatory certification products;

 

 

② Expected to release AS/NZS 60598.1:2024 this year, with a transition period of two years before mandatory implementation;

 

③ AS/NZS 62560 will be updated to version A3, with the standard scope revised to cover products ranging from 50 to 1000V and accepting all lamp heads that comply with IEC60061.

Regarding the mandatory certification of self ballasted LED bulbs, a small reminder: when sold to South Wales, Australia, according to local regulations, the restrictions may be smaller than the standard range, especially focusing on power (for energy-saving needs):
