What is Gabon COC certification? What is Gabonese COC certification?

COC certification in Gabon is a mandatory compliance certification regulation implemented by the Republic of Gabon on August 1, 2015. Without a COC certificate, customs clearance delays, fines, and even returns may occur upon arrival at the port, causing significant losses to exporters. It's actually easy to understand that the certifications issued by each country are aimed at ensuring that imported products meet their regulatory standards, protecting local environmental hygiene, protecting the health and safety of their own industries and people, and ensuring that imported products can be used with confidence.

The new regulation that came into effect on July 16 by the Gabonese standardization agency AGANOR (Agency Gabonaise de Normalization) requires that all products, except for food (Chapter 1-24) and small exempted products, begin to comply with the Program Gabonais d'Evaluation de la Conformit é from August 16, 2020. This means that goods must have a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) at customs clearance to ensure that they meet Gabonese standards and regulatory requirements.

Customers and friends who export to the Gabon region should pay attention, learn about relevant matters in advance, and be prepared.

You can send the relevant information and customs code HS CODE of the product to our salesperson at any time, to help you confirm whether the goods are under control in a timely manner, in order to avoid problems with customs clearance at the destination port.

The full English name of COC is Certificate of Conformity, which is a mandatory government certification and is a pre export conformity assessment program implemented by the Gabonese Bureau of Standards AGANOR (Age Gabonaise de Normalization).
