As of October 4, 2023, the Republic of Moldova has made significant updates to its national frequency band allocation table. The revision was detailed in Decision No. 1 on September 15, 2023 and has been officially published in the national official journal.
The main updates of the national frequency allocation table:
1. Railway Mobile Radio (RMR) Network Expansion
RN034 in Appendix 2 has been updated. Change "reserved number" to: "According to the provisions of ECC/DEC/(20) 02 resolution, starting from January 1, 2024, the 874.4-880MHz frequency band will be paired with 919.4-925MHz, and the 1900-1910MHz frequency band will be used for non dedicated railway mobile radio (RMR) networks."
2. Strengthen fixed and mobile communication networks
Appendix 2 РН The 037 annotation now includes the following content: "Frequency bands 880-915MHz, 925-960MHz, 1710-1785MHz, and 1805-1880MHz are used to implement fixed and mobile communication networks (MFCN) according to ERC/DEC decisions/(94) 01, ERC/DEC/(97) 02, and ECC/DEC/(06) 13.".
CEPT recommends that the provisions of ECC/REC (05) 08, ECC/REC (08) 02, and Decision ECC/DEC (22) 01 and ECC/DEC (22) 07 also apply
3. Ultra wideband (UWB) applications
Continuing РН After 049, added in Appendix 2 РН 049 А。 This update includes the following content: "According to CEPT Resolution ECC/DEC (06) 04, ultra wideband (UWB) applications are allowed to be used in frequency bands below 10.6GHz."
