Recently, after a series of strict audits, Luxshare Testing has successfully obtained IHM qualification recognition from the French Classification Society (BV) Ship Hazardous Substance List.
As an important member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), the certification of French Classification Society has high authority and wide recognition in the global maritime field. Service provider approval is a specialized evaluation, approval, certification, and management system established in accordance with BV standards for maritime service providers. It is applicable to enterprises that provide inspection, testing, measurement, and maintenance services for ships and offshore facilities.
According to Mr. Xiong, the head of the Chemical Business Unit of Luxshare Testing Group, obtaining the qualification recognition from French Classification Society (BV) means that our company's professional technical ability in hazardous substance detection in the field of ships has reached the international leading level. Luxshare Testing Group has successfully obtained recognition through a series of strict audits in accordance with its relevant specifications, rules and procedures. The recognition scope covers various hazardous substance detection projects such as asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls, which can help promote the green upgrading of the regional and national shipbuilding industry chain on a larger scale, and provide technical support for ship companies to ensure that their products comply with regulations and avoid risks, thus safeguarding Chinese ship companies' entry into global competition. After obtaining recognition from China Classification Society (CCS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), and other organizations, Luxshare Testing has once again been recognized by an internationally authoritative classification society.
Lixun Testing Group strictly adheres to the 2009 Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships, EU Regulation No. 1257/2013, ISO9001 and other regulations and standards to provide services such as sampling of hazardous substances from ships, laboratory testing, and preparation of hazardous substance lists for green shipbuilding. We assist and promote the control of hazardous substances in the entire ship industry chain, including ship equipment manufacturers, shipyards, and ship operating companies, to reduce the risk of hazardous substances on ships.
