Customs Alliance EAC Certification
The Customs Union EAC certification is a mandatory compliance mark for products entering the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market, equivalent to the EU's CE certification, but with stricter approval and must be issued by authorized agencies. Only products certified by EAC and bearing the EAC logo can be freely circulated and sold in the five member countries of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.
1、 The core role of EAC certification
Market access threshold: Products without EAC certification will be prohibited from import or detained by customs.
Unified technical standards: It replaces the existing national standards of each member state (such as GOST in Russia) and achieves the unification of technical regulations within the region.
Accelerate customs clearance process: Holding an EAC certificate can significantly improve the efficiency of customs clearance for goods in the destination country.
2、 Which products require EAC certification?
Not all products require mandatory EAC certification, only applicable to product categories that have developed and implemented the Eurasian Technical Regulation (TR EAEU). Mainly includes:
Electrical equipment and low-voltage electrical appliances
Children's products (toys, clothing, bottles, etc.)
Cosmetics and perfume
Industrial Machinery and Equipment
Food and packaging materials
Personal protective equipment
Gas appliances and some chemical products
⚠️ Tip: If the product belongs to the above category, even if it is only exported to one of the member countries, EAC certification must be completed.
3、 EAC Certificate vs EAC Declaration

Both have legal effect, but the certificate requires the full participation of a third-party organization, while the declaration can be registered and filed by the enterprise itself.
4、 Key steps for applying for EAC certification
Determine the applicable technical regulations (TR EAEU)
Different products correspond to different regulations, which directly affect testing projects and document requirements.
Prepare technical documents
Including product manual, circuit diagram, technical parameter table, ISO/CE and other existing certification materials.
Sample testing
Conduct safety, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental protection and other tests in EAEU accredited laboratories.
Factory audit (if applicable)
For mass-produced products, on-site system review may be required.
Submit application and obtain certificate
After being reviewed by the certification body, an EAC certificate or registration EAC statement will be issued.
Add EAC logo
The height of the logo shall not be less than 5mm and shall be clearly and persistently marked on the product body, packaging, and accompanying documents.
