Philippine DOE: DOE is the English abbreviation for the Department of Energy of the Philippines. The energy efficiency certification of air conditioners, refrigerators, televisions, and lighting products is managed by the EPRED office under DOE.

 


 

The Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines has launched an energy labeling program called PELP for air conditioners, refrigerators, televisions, and lighting.

 

 

Regarding the regulatory scope of lighting products：


 

Self regulating compact fluorescent lamp CFL (3W-60W, E14/E27 lamp head)

Double end straight tube fluorescent lamp LFL/DFL (10W-65W, G5/G13 lamp head)

Single end fluorescent lamp SFL (G10q lamp head)

Self ballasted non directional LED light (E14/E27, ≤ 60W)

Double ended linear LED tube (replacing fluorescent tube)

Dimming, color changing, decorative, colored, PAR light, directional light

UV curing, horticultural, medical, aquarium, signal, projection special lamps

 

Energy Efficiency Label Registration Process


 

The process is divided into three stages, as shown in the following figure:

1. Company registration is required for manufacturers, distributors, and importers

2. Product registration requires separate application for each model

3. Label application, the applicant needs to print and paste the label on the packaging or product

 

Note: Validity period of test report: 2 years
