The UK UKCA mark, as a compliance mark for entering the UK market, has come into effect on January 1, 2021, and the original compulsory implementation date is January 1, 2023. This transition period has been extended again to the end of 2024, during which products sold in the UK market can still use the CE mark.
Interpretation:
Until 31 December 2024, the UKCA mark will not be mandatory for all goods requiring the CE mark;
From 1 January 2025, products that need to be placed on the UK market must use the UKCA mark and ensure compliance with the new importer responsibilities;
The UKCA mark is now in effect. Although the enforcement date has been delayed, applications can be made normally. It is recommended to prepare as early as possible.
