Toy baby products testing

Conventional toy testing

Overview

A toy is any product or material designed or intended for play by children under the age of 14. In order to strengthen the supervision of the quality of children's toy products and ensure the safety of children in the process of playing, countries around the world are stepping up the quality and safety standards for resumes and play toy products.

At present, the conventional toy testing standards mainly include:
China Toy Safety Technical Specification GB6675;
EU toy safety standard EN71;
American toy safety standard ASTM F963;
U.S. Federal Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSC);
Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act CPSIA;
Canadian Hazardous Products (Toys) Regulations C.R.C.C931;
Japanese Toy Safety Standard ST2012;
International safety standard ISO8124 and other national standards.

The toy standards specified by various countries stipulate the requirements and test methods for toys of different age groups used by children from newborns to 14 years old. These requirements vary with the different age groups corresponding to the toys. The requirements for toys used by children of a particular age group are based on the characteristics of the satellite and the mental and physical ability of the child to cope.

Electric toy detection

Overview

Electric toys usually have more play and use functions and are loved by children. Since electronic circuits are used in toys, in order to fully protect the safety of children, the safety of electrical appliances and related safety issues have attracted the attention of various countries.
